I had heard a lot about Revlon newly launched shadowlinks and they caught my attention, so I thought hmmmmm lets give them a go. After a lot of searching on the internet for swatches, I finally decided to get Copper and Khaki.

Price : USA – $2.50,  India – INR 175

Revlon is one of my favourite drugstore brand since their recently launched Matte Balms.  I’m sure you’ve seen me wearing Revlon Matte Elusive Here. I was equally excited to get these small cubes eyeshadow called Colorstay Shadowlinks and since they were so affordable I was going to get them all…. but before that I thought lets try these two shades first. The idea of having a customized palette is innovative and great. I like the interlinking pans concept a lot. Shadowlinks are very tiny in size and don’t take much space in my makeup bag. They’re very inexpensive ( $2.50 / INR 175 ) and I really like the variety of shades available.

The shades that I got – Khaki and Copper are wearable everyday shades. Both shades are super soft and easy to pick up with a eyeshadow brush or a sponge tip applicator.

Revlon Colorstay Shadowlinks in Copper is a frosty copper penny with silver and gold micro shimmers. It looks pretty when applied on lids but lasts not more than 3 hours. I need a good base to make it last bit longer. The pigmentation is poor and I need three to four swipes for the color to show up. The fallout is more than I ever expected.
Revlon Colorstay Shadowlinks in Khaki is a pretty green color with fine pearl shimmer. It stays not more than 2 hours on my oily lids. With a base it can stay upto 3 to 4 hours. The texture is better than Copper but again the pigmentation is very poor.
