Hello amazing people ! Let’s talk about blemishes ,

Everyone has a different skin type and when anyone ask me about my clear skin secret I say thanks to my mom. But sadly we ALL do get acne and blemishes. It’s not something that we like to think or talk about but unfortunately it’s the truth. So now the question is, what can we do about it ?

The Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion is the newest addition to my lotions and potions drawer. This lotion claims to have antibacterial properties and is best suited for oily and acne prone skin. Lets find out if it works or not…

This review wouldn’t have been possible if it wasn’t requested so much. I recently posted my current top 5 products on Instagram (Beauty_shreya) and my IG friends wanted me to review this night lotion first. I thank all of them for the request and lovely comments.

Product Details (by company ) : A lightweight, soothing gel-crème for blemished skin.
Leaves skin looking matte . Antibacterial action . Clinically proven to give clearer-looking skin.

Price : USA – $19 , India – INR 995

My Thoughts ?

I have troubled skin on and off. Whenever my skin looks like it is about to break, I quickly change my entire skincare regimen. I was a little hesitant to try Tea Tree Blemish Fade Night Lotion at first because I’m constantly worried about products claiming to give me clear skin after my issues with pond’s night cream but I’m really happy I gave this one a shot.

I must say it helps me manage my skin so well and I always look refreshed in the morning. The packaging is quite simple but just the way I like. It has a pump dispenser yay. I always prefer such travel friendly and hygienic  packaging.

This Night Lotion is the perfect blemish treatment for my cheeks and chin. It is quite effective,  at treating and reducing blemishes and acne scars. You’ve to be really patient with this lotion as it won’t show results overnight. It has never dried out my sensitive skin or made it peel. Also, compared to most face lotions, this one is very reasonably priced, and the bottle lasts a long time so it ends up being a good value.

I find that this works better if you thoroughly cleanse your face first, and then apply before bed. Also one pump is enough for the entire face.

How To Use ?  Apply to a cleansed and toned face and neck before bed, to work overnight while you sleep

Texture : This lotion has the texture of a really awesome silicone primer that just glides on the skin and isn’t heavy or greasy in the slightest. It just leaves the skin feeling SO fresh!

Formula : Formulated with tea tree oil that has antibacterial properties to fight blemishes and control shine. Such formula is great for oily and acne prone skin. But if you’re looking for an anti-aging night cream than this one is surely not for you. It just helps in healing blemishes and acne scars .

Final Verdict  : The Body Shop Tea Tree Blemish Fade is one of the best Night Lotions I have ever used. I would recommend this product for oily and acne prone skin.
