My Thoughts ?
I’ve used quiet a lot of The Body Shop bath products and this one was my latest discovery. I was bored of products with fruity – flowery fragrance and that’s why decided to try something new. Brazil Nut body scrub comes in a typical Body Shop packaging which is a wider mouthed jar. I keep a tiny plastic spoon inside it so that I don’t have to dip my fingers to scoop out the product. The jar or tub packaging can get messy in shower.
The very first time I used this, followed by the Strawberry Body Butter (reviewed here), my skin felt incredibly smooth and all those tiny chicken skin bumps on the backs of my arms were GONE. Yayyy!
TEXTURE – I liked that the texture of the scrub very buttery/ creamy. It is something different that I never ever tried before. This creamy scrub contains visible pieces of nut shells for a effective skin treatment. The scrub beads made from nuts are bigger than normal body scrubs but I love how well it scrubs my skin, makes my skin feel exfoliated and softened post shower.
My sister has dry skin type and I’ve sensitive skin type, that’s why we both always use different bath products that suit our skin type. To my surprise this body scrub is effective enough for dry skin texture and also very gentle enough for sensitive skin.
The quantity is pretty good and has lasted me for about one and half month. This one I use on weekly basis and every time I use it I feel SO good. I love that the smell doesn’t feel like typical strong fragrance. The scent can be best described as a comfortable, warm and very nutty, in short delicious like freshly baked cookies. The Heavenly nutty aroma lingers on my body for about 2 hours even after stepping out of shower.
Overall, it rinses cleanly and leaves the skin feeling fresh, comfortable and mildly scented. Brazil Nut body scrub is totally worth the price as it exfoliates really well; not too harsh on skin. Skin feels smooth and SO moisturized after showering. Love it ! Wouldn’t mind repurchasing 🙂
