Pond’s Age Miracle Deep Action Night Crème

(Author Pallavi Bose)

Hiii Beauties,
Being a dry skin gives you lot of headache. Of course I don’t have issues like acne, sweat and oil on my face. But yes I have only one issue year round and that is to provide moisture to my face. I have to use moisturizing face creams all round the year. So, time and again I have tried number of face creams. I mostly stick to the face creams which are moisturizing and have whitening or brightening effects.

I get tanned pretty easily and dry skin regularly suffers from dullness issues. So, I try to use creams which will not only reduce the tanning but also will brighten the skin.I have tried a number of creams till date from various brands. Mostly from the drugstore ones than the premium brands. And overall my experience has been good with night creams. So, this time when I went home I saw this beauty at my mom’s dressing table. I decided to give it a try ….REad on to know my views on this product 🙂

Price : Rs. 549 for 50 grams

Shelf life : 36 months from the date of packaging

My Views:

Packaging : This beauty from the house of Pond’s comes in a very pretty and classy packaging. It comes in red and white packaging. It has a red screw lid at the top with the white bottom wherein the cream lies. The cream body has entire product details and claims in it. I feel that the jar is made of thick glass and so it will definitely break if it falls down accidentally. The jar is medium in size but a bit heavy because of the glass material in it. So, you need to take care while handling it.

Formula : Now, coming to the texture of the cream, it is pearly white in color. It is a bit on the thicker side so you will need to make efforts to blend it and sink it in your skin.

Texture : It has a whitish effect on your face in the beginning. Your face can look a bit whiter after applying this crème. So, if you don’t want to look whitewashed then use only a little amount for your entire face. Either wise you might end up looking like a clown. And excess amount is very difficult to blend in.

Effects : Now, coming to the properties of this cream from the house of Pond’s it is not at all moistursing. Actually you cannot use this cream as a skin care one you have to use it as a makeup product. It works as a fab whitening cream. And if you have dry skin then this cream while blending will definitely give you flakes. So, I think this one is perfect for oily skin types. It also helps in controlling oil and sweat on face. So, oily skinned people will love it. Also, the cream smells a bit peculiar. I think that smell is because of the chemicals present in it. But the smell settles in some time. So, nothing so bothersome for sensitive noses. The cream didn’t give me any kind of breakouts so sensitive skin can use it easily. And since I am only in my 20s so I cannot comment on the ageing part. So, no comments on that too.
What I liked Pond’s Age Miracle Deep Action Night Crème 🙂

  1. Works on matured skin.
  2. Brightening effect.
  3. Controls oil.
  4. Quantity is good.

What I Disliked Pond’s Age Miracle Deep Action Night Crème 🙁

  1. Difficulty in blending for dry skin
  2. Not at all moisturizing
  3. Product highlights flakes.
  4. Doesn’t work for dry skin

Final Verdict : I find the cream pretty good for oily skin types. At such price it works as a fab whitening or BB cream for oily skin type. And there are few products which work that beautifully on oily skin. So, I think all oily skin people should definitely give it a try. But sadly for dry skin people like me it is a dud.
